Dex is helping UK homeowners decarbonise by building an operating system used by installers and professionals. You’ll lead core systems with a strong emphasis on physics, geospatial analysis, and LiDAR-driven 3D modelling, while shipping offline-first PWAs.

Qualifications

• Deep fluency in modern TypeScript across the stack (React, Node, Prisma) and strong API design.
• Experience owning end-to-end projects with real-world constraints (physical, hardware, geospatial).
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and fostering a high-trust technical culture.

Responsibilities

• Define technical direction and architecture for critical systems, writing foundational code and reference implementations.
• Solve complex problems in heat-loss physics, geospatial analysis at scale, and LiDAR-driven 3D modelling.
• Build offline-first collaborative PWAs and integrate with field measurement hardware via Bluetooth.
• Drive the expansion of the platform into solar, batteries, and broader renewables supply chain.
