Job summary

Gordon Murray Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the development of ultra-low-volume, high-performance fuel systems from requirements and concept development through to validation, certification and release.

You will work across internal teams and external suppliers, delivering durable, compliant and high-performance fuel system solutions while guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience in high-performance fuel systems design/engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, automotive, aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading design and project engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and programme delivery of fuel system assemblies and components.
• Define system requirements, specifications and attribute summaries.
• Manage BoM, mass, design maturity and release timing.
• Lead feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform design decisions.
