Gordon Murray Automotive is seeking a Head of Powertrain in Windlesham to lead the engineering function responsible for the design, development and certification of low-volume powertrain systems for ultra‑premium sports cars.

You will report to the Director of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, drive performance and regulatory strategy, and mentor a high-calibre team to deliver on ambitious roadmaps across EU/UK/US markets.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years in high-performance powertrain engineering.
• 5+ years leading a powertrain function in a low-volume OEM/supercar environment.
• Experience with EPA/CARB SVM and EU/UK Small Series schemes.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Powertrain team to deliver programme objectives.
• Set direction, coach and mentor engineers, and manage resources and recruitment as needed.
• Drive regulatory compliance and certification across EU/UK/US markets.
