Job summary

Dex's trusted partner company is seeking a Lead Front-End Engineer to own the front-end craft across the entire product, defining patterns and guidelines that every engineer codes against. You'll shape how AI agents interact with the UI and ensure quality scales as the company grows.

You will collaborate with product and design to translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, high-performance user experiences, and you will mentor engineers on front-end fundamentals and framework/tool

Qualifications

• Deep front-end fundamentals and understanding of under-the-hood workings beyond frameworks.
• Experience with multiple front-end frameworks and tools; able to compare trade-offs.
• Strong performance engineering instincts and track record of solving bottlenecks.
• Exceptional architecture and systems design judgment for scalable front-end apps.
• Expert-level TypeScript experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and evangelize front-end architectural patterns and best practices across a full-stack team.
• Establish UI/UX guidelines and component libraries for consistency and quality for human-coded and AI-generated interfaces.
• Drive performance engineering initiatives and address slowness with systemic solutions.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, high-performance user experiences.
• Mentor engineers on front-end fundamentals and framework/tool trade-offs.
