Job summary
Gravesham Borough Council is seeking a Lead Forms Developer to design and maintain digital forms and content for the council website. You will work on web forms, content updates and related services within the Digital Team, ensuring accessible, user‑friendly online journeys.
The role requires experience with Granicus, CMS platforms, and front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). You will collaborate with internal teams to improve information and services for residents.
Qualifications
- Experience using a Customer Experience Platform (Granicus) and a CMS to create, update and maintain digital content.
- Experience in designing and developing online forms.
- Working knowledge of front-end development frameworks such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Understanding and applying accessibility requirements under relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop intelligent web forms using the council’s Granicus platform.
- Undertake user testing to inform the development of online services.
- Write and publish accessible web content for citizens.
- Manage website content to ensure clarity and conciseness.
