Job summary

Medway Council is seeking an ICT Lead PHP Developer to help lead the ongoing development, support and improvement of our public-facing digital services. The role centers on the Jadu platform, including Jadu CMS for content and Jadu XFP for online forms, supporting residents and service delivery.

You will guide a team, promote best practices, ensure accessibility and maintainability, and collaborate with ICT, designers and business analysts to deliver scalable digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Jadu CMS and Jadu XFP is essential.
• Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript are required.
• Experience developing accessible, scalable online services is important.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, support and continuous improvement of Medway Council's public-facing digital services.
• Work with the Jadu platform to manage content (CMS) and build online forms (XFP).
• Collaborate with ICT, front-end developers, designers and business analysts to translate requirements into digital solutions.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and coding standards to other developers.
• Ensure web solutions are secure, reliable and maintainable.
• Build integrations and APIs to support service delivery for residents.
