Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading NSI Gold Approved Fire & Security specialist for the Guildford area. The Lead Fire & Security Engineer will own a key service area, covering Guildford and surrounding regions with occasional travel towards Southampton.

This is a senior role that combines hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities. You will mentor engineers, resolve complex faults, and ensure high standards of maintenance, safety compliance, and

Qualifications

Proven experience within the Fire & Security industry.
Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems.
Full UK Driving Licence.
FIA, ECS/CSCS or manufacturer accreditations are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide technical escalations support to field engineers.
Act as the main point of contact for technical escalations.
Lead and mentor engineers in fault finding and problem resolution.
Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs.
Support the Service Manager with technical queries and operational issues.
Ensure compliance with NSI and industry regulations and maintain high workmanship standards.
