Job summary

Unite People Build, on behalf of a well-established main contractor, seeks an experienced Finishing Manager to oversee final stages of a large RC frame residential development. You will lead finishing trades, ensure apartments and communal areas are completed to the highest quality, on programme and ready for handover.

Daily site walks, snagging, materials coordination and coordinating trades will be key. The role offers a competitive salary, car allowance and solid pension with clear career

Qualifications

• Strong leadership to oversee finishing trades.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality handover.
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and programmes.

Responsibilities

• Daily site walk and quality inspections.
• Ensure materials are available ahead of installation.
• Raise and close snagging items.
• Attend daily coordination meetings.
• Drive programme to achieve handover dates.
• Coordinate trades and construction programme.
• Manage snagging, commissioning and final handover.
