Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Principal Examiner for iAL Pure Mathematics across WMA11-14. The role requires leading standardisation, reviewing mark schemes, and ensuring assessment standards are upheld. You will coordinate examiner training, monitor quality assurance processes, and contribute to awarding activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver contracted units/modules on time.
• Update mark schemes before the pre-standardisation meeting.
• Lead pre-standardisation and standardisation meetings.
• Mark live candidates’ responses to quality-assure, as required.
• Prepare and collate materials for standardisation.
• Support supervisors and Examiners.
• Submit reports to the Assessment team after standardisation and marking.
• Assist in awarding activities and provide written responses to complaints where required.
