Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment company is seeking a Lead Estimator based in Leatherhead, ideally working four days in the office and one remotely. The role requires providing comprehensive cost estimates, focusing on accuracy, uncertainties, and compliance with estimate plans. Essential skills include strong experience with ACCE and Microsoft Excel. This is a 9-month contract position that offers an opportunity to contribute to significant engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant number of years industry experience is preferred.
• Detailed understanding and use of Microsoft Excel.
• Detailed understanding and use of ACCE (Aspen Capital Cost Estimator) – Must have!

Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimates that are complete and fully auditable.
• Assess accuracy, uncertainties, risk, and contingencies.
• Ensure estimates comply with authorised plans.
