Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of estates capital schemes within the Trust’s Investment Programme. You will be professionally accountable for project delivery, including design, costs, contracts and commissioning.

Based in London, you will provide expert guidance to a multidisciplinary team, manage external consultants, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialist responsible for long-term planning, preparing and managing the Estates capital project under the Capital Programme.
• Independent management of a portfolio of delegated projects from inception to completion, including design, costs, contract administration, site supervision and commissioning.
• Appoint and manage external professional consultants within budget as a Budget Holder.
• Manage Estates Capital Budgets, professional services, contractor works and physical assets as part of the Capital Programme.
• Provide guidance and leadership to Trainee Project Managers and support Senior Managers within Estates.
