AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical/Power Monitoring and Controls System Engineer to lead EPMS/PMS design for data centres across the UK. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, drive project delivery and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires data centre exposure, building services knowledge and the ability to travel. Hybrid working is available and security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering with building services bias preferred.
• IET or CIBSE membership; CEng accreditation or working towards it.
• Proven track record leading EPMS and PMS designs across architectures.
• Experience in data centre design or related buildings/services sectors.
• Strong communication and leadership; able to liaise with clients, architects, M&E teams and contractors.
• Willingness to travel; valid driving licence and passport.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and oversee contractor implementation of EPMS/PMS across architectures, ensuring client needs and regulatory standards are met.
• Engage with clients, architects, M&E teams, contractors and senior management to build strong relationships.
• Manage complex projects from feasibility to delivery, including specifications, tendering, cost analysis and progress reporting.
• Conduct system surveys, FAT/SAT, deliver clear reports and training for clients to optimise performance.
• Mentor the EPMS/PMS team and contribute to innovation in smart building technologies.
• Promote SH&E best practices and ensure compliance across projects.
• Coordinate integration of mechanical, electrical and control systems with open communication standards.
• Occasionally travel nationally to project sites and AECOM offices.
