Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director Electrical & Power Monitoring (EPMS/PMS) for Data Centres to lead design and delivery across UK projects. You will coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineers, manage client relationships and drive project success.

The role requires data centre design experience, strong leadership, and ability to travel nationally while working in a hybrid setup from our London offices. Join a world‑class team delivering impactful infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Member of IET or CIBSE or working towards CEng.
• Experience leading EPMS/controls designs across data centres or similar facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and oversee contractor implementation of EPMS/PMS across architectures.
• Engage with clients, architects, M&E teams and senior management; build strong relationships.
• Manage complex projects from feasibility to progress reporting; develop specifications and schedules.
• Conduct system surveys, FAT/SAT testing and produce actionable client reports and training.
• Mentor EPMS/PMS team; promote knowledge sharing and innovation in smart building tech.
• Promote SH&E best practices and ensure compliance across projects.
