Job summary

AECOM in the UK is seeking an experienced Electrical/Power Monitoring and Controls System Engineer (EPMS/PMS) with data centre experience to lead design and delivery across projects. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and deliver innovative, compliant solutions.

You will oversee feasibility, specifications, tender management and FAT/SAT testing, while mentoring the EPMS/PMS team and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering with building services bias preferred.
• Member of IET or CIBSE; CEng accreditation or working towards.
• Proven EPMS/PMS design leadership across architectures.
• Experience leading building services projects in data centres.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPM/PMS design and oversee contractor implementation across architectures.
• Engage stakeholders and maintain client relationships at all levels.
• Manage feasibility studies, specs, tendering, cost and progress reporting.
• Conduct surveys, FAT/SAT testing and provide client training and reports.
• Mentor EPMS/PMS team, support knowledge sharing and innovation.
• Promote SH&E best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate integration with mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Occasionally travel nationally to project sites and AECOM offices.
