Working with the Technical Director and cross-disciplinary partners, you will evolve build systems, CI/CD and observability while advancing AI-enabled workflows. The role blends hands-on engineering with strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant professional software engineering experience in a demanding environment, preferably games.
• Experience building engineering, production or operational tooling like dashboards, builds and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong fundamentals across a broad technology stack.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, design, art and production.
• Ability to own ambiguous problems and deliver practical solutions.
• Quickly learn new technologies, tools and languages.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Technical Director to evolve studio tooling, automation and content pipelines.
• Improve feedback loops and authoring workflows to shorten time from idea to player value.
• Leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
• Develop and evolve build systems, CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
• Build and maintain dashboards and tooling to communicate product health.
• Develop profiling and optimization tools to understand performance and budgets.
• Collaborate with client, engine, server, DevOps, QA, design, art and production teams.
• Foster engineering excellence and knowledge sharing across the EA ecosystem.
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
• Prioritize engineering initiatives by ROI and impact on goals.
