Job summary

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Technical Artist - Tools and Pipelines for the EA SPORTS F1 studio. You will develop and maintain artist-facing tools and pipelines, collaborating with artists and engineers to improve content creation workflows.

You will evaluate AI-assisted tooling and guide teams toward scalable, reliable production practices. You will report to the Technical Art Director and help ensure tools are robust, efficient, and integrated with real-time engines across the F1 title

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical art, tools development, pipeline development, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing production tools using Python, MAXScript, or a comparable scripting language.
• Experience maintaining and supporting content pipelines connected to a real-time game engine.
• Experience with a digital content creation application such as 3ds Max or Maya.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain artist-facing tools and pipelines using Python and 3ds Max, supporting additional DCC applications.
• Partner with artists, designers, and engineers to improve workflows and tool usability.
• Evaluate and promote responsible use of AI-assisted tools while maintaining quality and security.
• Mentor technical artists and content creators, establishing best practices across teams.
