Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd seeks a Cryptography Lab Engineering Lead in the UK, with hybrid working across Leeds, Edinburgh and Bristol. You will head the engineering capability for Key Management services within the Cryptography Lab, driving end-to-end operational health, security and continuous improvement.

You will lead engineers, align with Product Owners, Risk, Compliance and Audit, and advance crypto‑agility, resilience and delivery predictability in a high‑trust, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leader with accountability for delivery and operational outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Key Management concepts, cryptographic controls and KM operating models.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams in high-risk, regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering capability for Key Management services within Cryptography Lab.
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of engineers, ensuring security policy compliance.
• Drive improvements in engineering effectiveness, service resilience and delivery predictability.
