Job summary

Lloyds Bank plc is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Leader to head the Cryptography Lab's engineering capability in the Chief Security Office. You will oversee end-to-end health and improvements of Key Management services, guiding a team of engineers to design, build, and operate cryptographic controls in line with security and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leadership experience with accountability for delivery and operational outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Key Management concepts and cryptographic controls.
• Lead evolution of enterprise key management services with crypto-agility and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams with coaching and performance management.
• Ability to work with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritise and trade off decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering capability for Key Management services within the Cryptography Lab.
• Ensure services are designed, built and operated in line with security policy and audit requirements.
• Drive improvements in engineering effectiveness, service resilience and delivery predictability.
• Coach teams to improve design quality, operability and maintainability.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning in a high-trust environment.
