Job summary

Funding Circle Ltd. is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join the Collections, Recoveries and Investor (CRI) Engineering team within the MPX group of Core Services Engineering.

You will provide technical authority, hands-on delivery, and mentorship to navigate complex initiatives that impact loans and investor relationships. You will lead cross-functional delivery, set the technical and product vision with Product and Engineering Managers, and champion architecture improvements including

Qualifications

Technical leader with a track record of owning complex delivery across team boundaries.
Strong mentoring and coaching skills with feedback integrated into work.
Ability to spot cross-team friction early and resolve it to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead your team to deliver large, complex, ambiguous initiatives across boundaries.
Collaborate with Engineering Manager and Product Manager to set vision and goals.
Drive architectural decisions and durable, scalable designs for your domain.
Champion the use of AI tooling to raise engineering standards and outcomes.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to align priorities.
