Job summary

The Collective Network Limited in Peterborough is seeking a Lead Engineer to step up from a hands-on maintenance role while taking the lead on the shift.

You'll coordinate maintenance activity, support a team of engineers and work closely with production to keep the site running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a strong electrical bias required.
• Recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, C&G, ONC or equivalent).
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food production environments.
• Confident communicator who can own tasks and lead from the front.
• Ready to move into a Lead Engineer / Engineering Team Leader role.
• Hands-on, practical approach focused on reliability and production uptime.

Responsibilities

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step?

This is a great opportunity to move into a Lead Engineer position where you'll remain hands-on technically, while taking more responsibility for the day-to-day running of the engineering shift.

You'll coordinate maintenance activity, support a team of engineers and work closely with production to keep the site running safely and efficiently.

• Confident communicator who can take ownership and lead from the front
• Someone ready to move into a Lead Engineer / Engineering Team Leader position
• Hands-on, practical approach with a focus on reliability and keeping production moving
