Qualifications

• 10+ years in analytics, data science or AI
• 3–4 years leading client engagements or programmes
• Strong insurance domain experience, ideally in personal lines
• Proven production ML/AI deployments with quantified impact
• Hands-on credibility across ML, GenAI and agentic AI
• MLOps / LLMOps experience (MLflow, CI/CD, monitoring)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
• Proficient in Python, SQL, PySpark
• Experience leading proposals, solution architecture and estimation
• Confident communicator to senior stakeholders
• Experience managing teams of 10+ across workstreams
• UK/European insurers, MGAs or insurtechs experience
• Familiarity with Guidewire and industry data sources
• Experience building reusable AI accelerators or IP
• Degree in CS/Engineering/Statistics/Math or related field

Responsibilities

• Own analytics and AI engagements end-to-end for UK personal lines insurers
• Lead senior day-to-day engagement delivery for multiple clients
• Translate client priorities into analytics roadmaps
• Identify follow-on opportunities and drive account growth
• Lead discovery workshops; shape problem statements and business cases
• Own proposals, SOWs, and ROI calculations end-to-end
• Develop AI accelerators and reusable assets for the practice
• Oversee full delivery lifecycle with Agile; manage scope, timelines and budget
• Ensure production deployment with MLOps/LLMOps and monitoring
• Track measurable business outcomes (loss ratio, leakage, cycle time, fraud)
• Lead cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore
• Mentor team members and contribute to hiring
• Collaborate with insurance domain experts and platform partners
