Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Endocrine Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead the development of the endocrine nursing service, manage a complex caseload, and run nurse-led clinics (face-to-face and virtual) with dynamic function testing. The role collaborates with consultants, primary care and regional centres to deliver high‑quality care.

You will be an NMC registered nurse with postgraduate endocrine training or willingness to undertake one, plus prescribing

Qualifications

• Postgraduate endocrine training or equivalent.
• Prescribing qualification or willingness to undertake one.
• Teaching and assessing qualification are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist assessment, treatment, monitoring and ongoing management of endocrine patients.
• Manage a complex specialist caseload autonomously.
• Establish and deliver nurse-led endocrinology clinics (face-to-face and virtual).
• Lead endocrine nursing pathways, guidelines and patient information.
• Lead clinical audits, service evaluation and quality improvement projects.
