Qualifications

• Senior, hands-on embedded software engineer with strong skills in C/C++
• Experience with video encoding/decoding and real-time video processing
• Proven ability to take embedded systems from prototype to production

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded software architecture and system integration
• Develop and maintain embedded software using C/C++
• Design and optimise real-time video encoding/decoding workflows
• Integrate hardware codecs, vendor SDKs, drivers and software
• Develop and debug hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet)
• Optimise video performance including latency and buffering
• Support hardware integration, board bring-up and system debugging
• Develop networking, control and monitoring functionality
• Establish robust testing and firmware update processes
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and external specialists
• Ensure video pipelines, memory management and latency targets are met
