Job summary

Copello Global Ltd. is seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer to lead hands-on development for market-leading surveillance equipment deployed globally.

You will design and implement software for bare-metal systems in C/C++, develop device drivers, and work with hardware teams to meet stringent performance and reliability targets in real-time environments. Experience with optics or cameras and thorough debugging with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers is required, with Python being a plus

Qualifications

• Experience in Optics or Cameras and hands-on Firmware/Embedded Systems Engineering.
• Proficient in C/C++ and able to write maintainable code.
• Python experience is beneficial for tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for bare-metal systems with focus on performance, reliability, and resource efficiency.
• Develop, test, and debug low-level device drivers and real-time software for microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with hardware and cross-functional teams to define software and hardware integration requirements.
