Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior embedded hardware leader to design and develop monitoring, protection, recording, and industrial instrumentation products. You will drive hardware decisions and mentor engineering teams across multiple projects.

You will translate system requirements into robust hardware designs, ensure performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering embedded hardware from concept to production and lifecycle support.
• Experience in mixed-signal, analogue, digital and embedded systems design.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, EMC, thermal management and reliability.
• Experience with embedded processors, data acquisition, sensing and industrial networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of embedded hardware for monitoring, protection, recording, and instrumentation products.
• Translate requirements into robust hardware designs meeting performance, reliability, and cost goals.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated product solutions.
• Drive investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for complex issues.
• Lead design reviews, verification, qualification, and compliance testing.
