KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions LTD is recruiting for a Lead Electronic Engineer in a Norwich-based, hybrid role. The position leads a hardware/electronics team delivering power electronics products for automotive and related sectors.

The ideal candidate will coach a team of five electronics engineers plus a technician, manage risks and delivery, and translate progress for senior leadership. Flexible location and remote support are offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading hardware/electronics engineering teams.
• Strong background in power electronics product development.
• Able to implement pragmatic processes in a fast-growing SME.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a hardware/electronics team of engineers and a technician.
• Own risk and issue management across hardware projects.
• Define processes appropriate for a fast-growing SME, avoiding over-engineering.
• Translate technical progress for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Support delivery of power electronics projects (inverters, DC-DC, chargers).
• Collaborate with senior leadership on direction and resourcing.
