Qualifications

• 10+ years of electronics design experience.
• Experience with ECAD tools.
• Experience with Altium and Cadence.
• Strong communication with customers and software engineers.
• MCAD and SaaS experience is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Act as the internal electronics expert, supporting software engineers and wider technical teams.
• Help develop new features and contribute to system-level technical decisions.
• Work across a variety of electronics projects depending on customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
• Support customer Proof of Value projects and help de-risk technical delivery.
• Spend around 50% of your time working directly with customers.
• Translate customer requirements into clear internal requirements.
• Collaborate with an international customer base across Europe, the US, Taipei and the Philippines.
• Provide team leadership and people management.
• Provide technical direction and feature planning and prioritisation.

This is a genuinely varied role, split roughly50% technical and 50% customer-facing, giving you the chance to work on interesting engineering problems while having a direct impact on customer projects.

What you'll be doing as the Lead Electronics Engineer:

• Act as the internal electronics expert, supporting software engineers and wider technical teams.
• Help develop new features and contribute to system-level technical decisions.
• Work across a variety of electronics projects depending on customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
• Support customerProof of Valueprojects and help de-risk technical delivery.
• Spend around 50% of your time working directly with customers.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into clear internal requirements.

You’ll ideally have:

• Broad electronics design experience -10+ years' experience
• Experience across differentECAD tools.
• Experience withAltium and/or Cadence.
• The ability to understand complex technical problems and work logically towards solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly when working with customers and software engineers.
• MCAD and SaaS experience is nice to have
