Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join a well-established UK electronics manufacturer in Newbury on a permanent basis. The role covers end-to-end product development, from concept through to production, in a fast-paced engineering environment that combines design, PCB fabrication and assembly.

You will design electronic systems and embedded firmware, create schematics in Altium Designer, develop test strategies, and lead technical discussions with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layouts.
• Experience with embedded systems and common communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, CAN, LIN).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end electronics product development projects from concept to production.
• Design electronic systems and embedded firmware.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Develop test strategies for hardware and embedded software.
• Act as technical lead/architect in projects with cross-functional teams.
• Support prototype build, board bring-up and validation.
• Participate in design reviews and drive continuous improvement in agile environment.
• Maintain project documentation and manage tasks in Jira.
