Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Newark is seeking an Electronic Engineer to join a leading manufacturer serving highly regulated industries. The role is office-based and focuses on developing control panels and interface technologies for blue-chip customers.

You will design analogue and digital circuits, support EMC testing, and perform fault finding and reliability analysis while collaborating with production teams to drive improvements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or computer engineering.
  • Experience in electronics design or manufacturing.
  • Experience designing analogue and digital circuits.
  • Strong EMC design and compliance testing knowledge.
  • Experience with SPI, I2C or USB is advantageous.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development and testing of electronic hardware products.
  • Manage hardware design changes driven by cost, obsolescence, or performance improvements.
  • Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation to a high professional standard.
  • Perform fault finding and debugging of electronic devices.
  • Conduct quality and reliability analysis (e.g. MTBF).
  • Support EMC testing and wider electrical validation activities.
  • Work closely with production and production engineering teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.
