Job description

Lead Electronic Systems Engineer (Defence)

We are seeking skilled professionals to support the electrical/electronic aspects of missile system architecture. Your responsibilities will include specifying electrical requirements, defining interfaces, designing power architectures, and ensuring signal safety.

This role is crucial for supporting the electrical/electronic technical aspects of missile system architecture and topology. You will specify and determine:

  1. Electrical requirements for subsystems/equipment
  2. Interface definitions and characteristics
  3. Power architecture, including load budget and profiles
  4. Data communication and processing architecture
  5. Requirements for EMC, bonding, grounding, and screening
  6. Signal safety, including routing of safety-related signals

This position is ideal for experienced engineers or those eager to develop their skills. Join our dynamic team to engage in technical discussions with equipment suppliers, participate in testing activities, and contribute to missile development stages.

We offer a rate of up to £60 per hour, OUTSIDE IR-35.

What we're looking for:
  • A degree or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • SC Clearance
  • British Nationality
