Platform Solution Architect - Defence Projects

Location: Corsham 2-3 days/week | UK-Wide Hybrid | SC/DV Cleared or UK

Employment Type: Permanent Role

A large-scale technology refresh programme within the defence sector is seeking an experienced Platform Solution Architect to take the lead on designing and delivering complex platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead architectural design, configuration, and implementation of platform solutions
2. Draft detailed technical statements of requirements
3. Define and assess architectures and business requirements
4. Produce high and low-level designs, including operating models
5. Work across private and public cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
6. Provide technical guidance to delivery teams and customers
7. Ensure Agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban) are applied effectively

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong experience delivering Enterprise IT systems within the UK defence sector
• Skilled in platform architecture and cloud solution design
• Proficient in creating technical documentation and architectural artifacts
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical assurance skills
• Must be UK-based with SC or DV clearance (or eligible with 5+ years UK experience)
