Sharepoint Architect (DV Security Clearance)

This role requires UK Security Clearance or eligibility. It is based near Chippenham.

Future Duties and Responsibilities

Overview: We seek a skilled Cloud Architect with expertise in cloud migration and SharePoint to support transitioning a legacy system to a private cloud for a Government client. The focus is on designing, planning, and executing a migration that ensures security, compliance, and smooth integration.

The successful candidate will align with the client's cloud strategy, collaborating with stakeholders and leading SharePoint solution design to improve management and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Migration Planning & Execution: Develop strategies for migrating SharePoint to cloud, assess legacy challenges, and ensure minimal disruption.
2. SharePoint Architecture: Lead design and optimization, define governance, security, and compliance strategies, and implement best practices.
3. Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical guidance, and communicate solutions effectively.
4. Security, Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance, define security controls, and mitigate risks.
5. Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Stay updated on industry standards, promote effective migration processes, and improve service reliability.
6. Collaboration & Programme Involvement: Work within the client’s programme, enable phased delivery, and foster change management for successful adoption.
