Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Security Systems Installation Lead in the United Kingdom to take technical ownership of electronic security projects from mobilisation through commissioning and handover.

You will review designs, coordinate engineers and subcontractors, ensure compliance with BS EN standards and NSI/SSAIB codes, and mentor junior staff while travelling to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing and commissioning electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, or Integrated Security).
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specs and scopes of work.
• Experience coordinating engineers and/or subcontractors on site.
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and commissioning skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel to sites.
• SC Clearance or willingness to be screened.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of assigned electronic security projects from mobilisation through commissioning, testing, and handover.
• Review and interpret project designs, specifications, and scopes of work, resolving technical queries with designers and clients.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise installation and commissioning activities of engineers and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure works comply with company installation standards, manufacturer requirements, and relevant industry standards.
• Commission and configure CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, and Integrated Security Systems.
• Lead fault diagnosis and resolution.
• Travel to customer sites to support delivery and resolve technical issues.
