MDE Consultants Ltd seeks a hands-on Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to head electrical teams on nationwide projects. You will drive installation excellence and ensure on-time delivery across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates bring NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition with AM2, hold a valid UK driving licence, and are willing to travel extensively. This role offers progression and comprehensive site support.

Qualifications

• Strong Commercial Solar PV installation experience.
• Previous experience leading electrical teams.
• NVQ Level 3.
• AM2.
• ECS Gold Card.
• 18th Edition.
• 2391 or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Happy to travel and stay away nationwide.
• Solar PV and EV qualifications advantageous.

Lead Electrician - Commercial Solar PV

£50,000 to £55,000 + Company Van + Hotels Paid + £45 Overnight Allowance + Door to Door Travel + Overtime + Progression

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who has come through electrical installation and is comfortable leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.
