Job summary

MDE UK is seeking an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide. This hands-on role requires leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.

The ideal candidate has strong solar PV installation experience, a proven track record in team leadership, and holds NVQ Level 3, AM2, ECS Gold Card, and 18th Edition qualifications. Willingness to travel and stay away nationwide is essential.

• Carry out quality checks and resolve installation issues.
• Manage daily workload and site resources.
• Mentor electricians and support engineers.
• Maintain high H&S and workmanship standards.

£50,000 to £55,000 + Company Van + Hotels Paid + £45 Overnight Allowance + Door to Door Travel + Overtime + Progression

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has come through electrical installation and is comfortable leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.
