Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams on nationwide projects. This role is hands-on and requires on-site leadership of electricians, apprentices and support engineers.

You will manage containment, cabling, termination, testing and commissioning, coordinate with mechanical teams, and uphold high H&S and workmanship standards. Travel nationwide with an attractive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong Commercial Solar PV installation experience.
• Experience leading electrical teams on site.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel nationwide.

£50,000 to £55,000 + Company Van + Hotels Paid + £45 Overnight Allowance + Door to Door Travel + Overtime + Progression

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who has come through electrical installation and is comfortable leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.
