Job summary

Warwick Employment Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Services Officer (Fire & Security Systems) for Coventry Campus to oversee maintenance and compliance of the University's fire and security systems.

You will lead the Electrical Services team, plan and deliver preventative maintenance, inspections and remedial works, coordinating with in‑house teams and specialists to ensure safety and regulatory compliance across campus.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with experience working on fire and security systems.
• Experience supervising teams in a maintenance or facilities setting.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support the Electrical Services team.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance, inspections and remedial works for fire and security systems.
• Ensure inspections and compliance documentation are completed to high standards.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical, fire and security system issues.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure safe, timely delivery.
