WEG Tech in Coventry is seeking an Electrical Technician to support a large university campus. You will perform routine, planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building services, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to keep critical facilities operating.

The role includes on-call duties, adherence to safety and statutory testing, and collaboration with the Estates team to deliver cost-effective solutions within the SLA.

Qualifications

• Respond to job requests and resolve issues safely and to SLAs.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical/building systems.
• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive remedial work.
• Ensure compliance with testing and inspections.

Responsabilités

• Respond to job requests via the notification system and resolve safely within SLAs.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical/building services.
• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive remedial work.
• Ensure statutory testing and inspections are completed (PIT, PAT, Fire alarms).
• Lead minor power system installations as required.
• Record resolutions and complete timesheets and job records.

City and Guilds 2395, Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations

IOSH Managing Safely

Full UK or EU driving licence
