Job summary

MDE UK is seeking an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams on projects nationwide. This hands-on role requires overseeing containment, cabling, termination, testing and commissioning, mentoring electricians and coordinating with mechanical teams while maintaining high H&S and workmanship standards.

You will hold NVQ Level 3, AM2, ECS Gold Card and 18th Edition, possess 2391 or equivalent, and have a Full UK Driving Licence

Qualifications

• Strong Commercial Solar PV installation experience.
• Experience leading electrical teams.
• NVQ Level 3 and AM2 qualifications.
• ECS Gold Card and 18th Edition required.
• 2391 or equivalent certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel nationwide.

Lead Electrician Commercial Solar PV

£50,000 to £55,000 + Company Van + Hotels Paid + £45 Overnight Allowance + Door to Door Travel + Overtime + Progression

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has come through electrical installation and is comfortable leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.
