Job summary

Example Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor in Welwyn Garden City to support the Electrical Manager and lead the electrical engineering team.

You will provide technical leadership, ensure high standards of quality and safety, and work closely with engineers and clients to complete work efficiently and to required standards. The role includes supervising engineers, conducting audits, and delivering toolbox talks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical engineering within a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality.
• Qualifications: 18th Edition, 2391, AM2, NVQ Electrical Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical engineers and provide training and development.
• Carry out quality checks, health & safety audits and onsite inspections.
• Work as an NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS) and support the wider QS team.
• Deliver technical updates and guidance during toolbox talks.
• Ensure engineers are allocated work appropriate to their competencies.
• Support engineer training, inductions and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with technical issues, problematic jobs and customer complaints.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Work closely with SHEQ to ensure competency, compliance and safety standards are maintained.
• Provide cover for Electrical Manager as needed.
