Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting an Electrical Supervisor for a major Northamptonshire construction project on a 6-month contract. You will oversee electrical installation works on site, coordinating teams and ensuring safety, quality and programme adherence.

Successful candidates will have a CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS certification, and a proactive approach to health and safety management. Immediate start offered on a competitive day rate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical Supervisor on large construction, commercial, industrial or M&E projects.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations and site supervision.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and direct labour.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proactive approach to health, safety and quality management.

Responsibilities

• supervise electrical installation works across the project.
• Coordinate subcontractors and electrical operatives on site.
• Monitor progress and ensure works align with project programmes.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure installations meet standards.
• Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Review RAMS and permit systems and implement changes.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Site Managers, clients and other trades.
• Identify and resolve site issues to maintain momentum.
• Maintain accurate site records and report progress.
