Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Technical Project Engineer to lead the design and execution of medium-voltage equipment projects. You will own projects from concept through delivery, ensuring technical, commercial, quality and schedule requirements are met in collaboration with engineering, production, deployment and quality teams.

You will review drawings and BOMs, develop technical documentation and provide FAT support, while coordinating activities across disciplines and maintaining clear

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related field.
• Experience with medium-voltage equipment, switchgear, protection systems or transformers.
• Strong knowledge of electrical protection schemes, control circuits and engineering documentation.
• Experience managing or coordinating multiple engineering projects.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using CAD packages AutoCAD or EPLAN.
• Experience supporting FATs and customer technical reviews.
• Knowledge of IEC and BS EN standards.
• PRINCE2 or PMP qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design and technical execution of medium-voltage equipment projects.
• Manage projects from initial design through to final delivery.
• Produce engineering drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
• Develop and review technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Provide technical support during FATs and customer reviews.
• Communicate technical information clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate project activities and monitor progress against timescales, budgets and quality requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, deployment and quality teams for smooth execution.
• Support resolution of technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time and to required quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across engineering and delivery processes.
