Job summary

Futures Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering electrical engineering projects from initial design and specification through to manufacture, installation and commissioning.

You will take ownership of technical projects and solve engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment, working across electrical distribution, control panels and switchgear systems.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing customer specifications, technical drawings and project requirements
• Supporting the design and engineering of LV/MV electrical distribution systems
• Producing and reviewing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Selecting electrical components, protection devices and associated equipment
• Coordinating technical requirements with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams
• Providing engineering support throughout manufacture and assembly
• Supporting FAT, inspection, testing and commissioning activities
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and resolving technical issues throughout projects
• Supporting installation and commissioning teams on site where required
• Managing technical changes and ensuring project documentation remains accurate and up to date
• Ensuring electrical designs and installations meet relevant standards, specifications and safety requirements
• Working alongside project managers to ensure engineering deliverables are completed to programme
