Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director Electrical & Power Monitoring for Data Centres in the UK. The role leads EPMS/PMS design, guides contractors and drives project delivery in a hybrid setup, with offices in London Aldgate and St Albans and national travel as needed.

The ideal candidate has data centre design experience, a degree in electrical engineering and professional accreditation either in IET, CIBSE or CEng progress.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in electrical engineering; building services bias preferred.
• Member of IET or CIBSE, with professional accreditation desired.
• CEng accreditation or progress towards it is advantageous.
• Proven track record leading EPMS and controls design across architectures and scales.
• A collaborative team player who delivers electrical designs with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and oversee contractor implementation of EPMs across architectures.
• Engage clients, architects, M&E teams, contractors and leaders with trusted advice.
• Manage complex projects from feasibility to tender, cost, bid analysis and progress.
• Conduct surveys, FAT/SAT, and provide reports and client training.
• Mentor EPMS/PMS team, drive knowledge sharing and innovation in smart building tech.
• Promote SH&E best practices, ensure compliance and safety culture.
• Support integration of mechanical, electrical and control systems; travel nationally as needed.
