Job summary

Total Facilities Recruitment Limited on behalf of a major UK maintenance contractor is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will complete PPM and reactive maintenance across building assets, ensuring equipment availability and fault repairs.

Working hours are 7am–7pm, Monday to Friday, 4 days on 4 off. Applicants should have City & Guilds NVQ 1&2 and 17th/18th Edition, with a salary up to £41,000 and a fully expensed company vehicle.

Qualifications

Experience with mechanical/electrical services in commercial environments.
Fault finding and repairs to standard installations.
Experience in scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Complete scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance tasks on site assets.
Perform operational checks and first line repairs of building systems.
Identify and estimate repair or project works and complete as delegated.
Work Monday to Friday 7am–7pm, 4 days on 4 off.

Job description

My client is one of the largest independent providers of property maintenance services in the UK, providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to thousands of clients across tens of thousands of locations around the UK. They provide, Mechanical & Electrical, Fabric, Air conditioning and Combustion, maintenance and installations to commercial & retail environments. With 15 regional offices, they are national specialists in planned and responsive maintenance and all of there services are based on `self delivery`, which means that they employ only the best, fully qualified in-house technicians and engineers to maintain quality standards. They currently employ over 2000 technicians and engineers.

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work for one of the UK’s largest maintenance contractors.

You will be required to complete scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance tasks in maintaining site assets ensuring equipment availability, to perform higher level technical fault finding and repairs. You will be responsible for performing operational checks and first line repairs of building technology systems. Identify then estimate repair or project works conforming to best practice and regulations, plus complete repair/project works when delegated.

You will be working Monday to Friday 7am - 7pm 4 days on 4 off.

You should have experience with mechanical and electrical services, fault finding and repairs to standard installations in small offices up to large commercial buildings.
