Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Principal Electrical Engineer - Building Services in Birmingham. You will lead project delivery, manage client relationships and provide technical leadership as the office scales.

The role requires a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, Chartered status or working toward it, and strong consultancy experience at principal level. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit is expected, with AMTECH, Dialux/Relux experience benefiting delivery.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
Chartered or working towards (CIBSE / IET).
Strong consultancy experience at Principal level.
Confident client-facing communicator and team leader.

Responsibilities

Lead client liaison as key technical contact.
Deliver and oversee electrical building services design across multiple projects.
Produce calculations, specifications, drawings and tender documentation.
Manage multidisciplinary coordination and project delivery.
Oversee financial performance, fees and programme.
Carry out site inspections and ensure design compliance.
Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
