Smart is hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer for a tenant contract in Tottenham Court Road, London. The role requires supervising the day shift, carrying out scheduled maintenance, and addressing reactive issues to keep building systems running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has City and Guilds Electrical Installations Level 3 or equivalent, with experience leading a shift and coordinating maintenance tasks. Working hours are Monday to Friday with a split shift from 7am-4pm and 1pm-10pm.

• Formally trained in City and Guilds Electrical Installations level 3 or the equivalent NVQ.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise day to day operation of the day shift carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
• Carry out reactive works to building systems and highlight improvement areas.
• Ensure plant faults are remedied to keep systems in service.
• Provide parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial work.

Purpose:

To supervise day to day operation of the day shift carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to building systems within contracted area of responsibility.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.
• Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. These reactive calls to also include concessionary stores and fabric related items.
• Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
• Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.

Requirements:

• Formally trained in City and Guilds Electrical Installations level 3 or the equivalent NVQ.
