VirtueTech Recruitment Group seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s expanding team in Scotland. This is a hands-on role focusing on LV/HV electrical design, schematics and technical specification development for large infrastructure projects.

You’ll work on load calculations, cable sizing, protection schemes and equipment specs, using PLS-CADD and industry-standard tools, with client and contractor coordination throughout.

Qualificações

• Solid background in electrical engineering design with proven experience.
• Good knowledge of PLS-CADD, line profiling, sag and tension, towers, foundations and conductors.
• Chartered or working towards chartership is ideal.

Responsabilidades

• Produce electrical drawings and schematics.
• Design LV/HV systems.
• Carry out load calculations.
• Size cables and equipment.
• Design protection systems.
• Specify transformers, switchgear and other equipment.
• Produce technical specifications.
