Job summary

DMW Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy in Teesside. You will lead electrical design for LV and HV systems up to 33kV, undertake studies and site surveys, and deliver projects from design through to commissioning.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering with 6+ years' experience, a degree in Electrical Power Engineering, and willingness to travel UK-wide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' relevant industry experience.
• Degree-level qualification in Electrical Power Engineering.
• Strong experience in both HV and LV electrical engineering.
• Experience supervising site activities and electrical commissioning.
• Proficiency with SKM Power Tools, ETAP and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design for LV and HV distribution systems up to 33kV.
• Carrying out site surveys, data gathering and technical investigations.
• Developing complete design packages for subcontract build and commissioning.
• Reviewing supplier quotations and bid appraisals.
• Managing project resources and budgeting.
• Providing technical guidance to junior team members.
