Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and delivery of advanced electrical and electronic control systems for complex industrial and energy applications. You will own engineering activities from concept through delivery, working with customers and partners across international teams.

You will drive design reviews, ensure standards compliance, and deliver robust documentation and analyses while coordinating with global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering required.
• Proven experience in electrical/electronic design for complex systems.
• Experience with international projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical oversight, design reviews and governance for projects.
• Delivering electrical/electronic designs, analyses and calculations per standards.
• Producing and maintaining design documentation (schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams, BOMs).
• Ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality engineering packages with safety and compliance.
• Responding to technical queries and supporting workshop/offshore activities.
• Performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Supporting development of power, control, and electronic/PCBA systems.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and promoting best engineering practices.
